Like a pro

AI Assist

AI Assist can be used for general assistance on a matter, such as:

  • Drafting emails and documents
  • Summarising text
  • Checking the latest status of the case
  • Planning next actions

AI Assist can be used:

  1. For help with a particular item within the matter’s Folder tab
  2. For general help on a matter

To obtain assistance with an item within the matter’s Folder tab:

  1. Within the matter’s Folder tab, find or locate the item you would like assistance with

  2. Select the ’…’ icon to the right of the item

  3. Select Interrogate with AI

  4. Enter your prompt

  5. AI Assist will scan the chosen document and output its response

    1. Select the paper icon to the right of the response to copy it to your clipboard, ready to paste into a document or email
    2. Select the post-it note icon to the right of the response to save it to the matter. Edit the text and add any mentions in the editor that opens, then save it — the response is added to the Folder tab as a standard internal note.
    3. Select the paperclip icon to the left of the chat box to upload additional items for review
  6. Enter any further prompts as needed

  7. Select the ‘x’ icon to close AI Assist and return to your matter

To obtain general assistance within a matter:

  1. Within the matter, select Assist from the top toolbar

  2. Enter your prompt

  3. AI Assist will scan the matter and output its response

    1. Select the paper icon to the right of the response to copy it to your clipboard, ready to paste into a document or email
    2. Select the post-it note icon to the right of the response to save it to the matter. Edit the text and add any mentions in the editor that opens, then save it — the response is added to the Folder tab as a standard internal note.
    3. Select the paperclip icon to the left of the chat box to upload a specific item(s) from your Folder tab for review
  4. Enter any further prompts as needed

  5. Select the ‘x’ icon to close AI Assist and return to your matter
