Introduction to reports

Reports turn the data already held across your matters, contacts, tasks, and accounts into figures you can act on — conversion rates, outstanding work, time recorded, form activity, and more. Most report over a time period you choose, and many can be saved so their configuration is one click away next time.

This section covers each report in turn. Use the list below to find the right one.

  • Conversions report — matters moving to Lead, Opened, Completed, and Aborted over time.
  • Matters report — build a bespoke report from any data points across your matters and contacts.
  • Matter state reports — matters reaching a given state, grouped by template, team, fee earner, or aborted reason.
  • Timeframe report — average time taken between a matter being created and a task being completed.
  • Weekly key dates report — matters with a custom date due in a defined period.
  • Custom data report — the range and quantity of data saved to a custom field.
  • Tasks completed, tasks outstanding, tasks breakdown, and tasks comparison — completion and workload figures for specific tasks, users, and time periods.

If you use the InTouch accounting package, a further set of reports covers your client accounts — ledgers, balances, invoices, and receivables. See Introduction to accounting reports.
