Introduction

This section covers the organisation-wide settings an administrator uses to tailor InTouch to how your firm works — from how matters are referenced and closed to who receives notifications. Most are found under Settings.

Matter behaviour

• Aborted matter reasons — define the reasons recorded when a matter is aborted, so you can report on trends.
• Archiving — how completed, closed, and archived matters relate to one another.
• Automatic matter references — set a firm-wide convention that references new matters automatically.

Organisation-wide configuration

• Organisation settings — the general options under Settings > Organisation Settings > General.
• Notification email addresses — manage which addresses receive your organisation’s email notifications.
• Outlook subject convention — pre-set information added to the subject line when sending via the Outlook plugin.
