Getting started
Calendar overview
The InTouch calendar displays the alarms and key dates set within your InTouch matters.
To access the InTouch calendar, select Calendar in the lefthand toolbar. To use our updated calendar, which lets you amend dates without leaving the page, select Try the new calendar at the top of the page.
Filters
Section titled “Filters”Use the top dropdown lists to filter by:
- Teams: Matters assigned to a particular team on InTouch
- Fee Earners: Matters assigned to a particular Fee Earner on InTouch
- Dates: A particular type of date
Use the viewing options on the right hand side to change the way the calendar is displayed:
- Month: To view a whole calendar month
- Week: To view a single week
- Day: To view a single day
- List Month: To view a list of calendar entries for that month
- List Week: To view a list of calendar entries for that week
- List Day: To view a list of calendar entries for that day
The new calendar
Section titled “The new calendar”Select Try the new calendar at the top of the calendar page to switch to the updated calendar. Your choice is remembered, so plain visits to the calendar will keep showing it. To go back, select Use the old calendar in the filter bar.
The same six views are available, and the filters work in the same way with two changes:
- Assigned: Matters assigned to a particular team, Fee Earner, or Assistant — the previous Teams and Fee Earners lists are combined into one
- Date Fields: One or more types of date, with each option showing the colour it is drawn in on the calendar. Leave it set to All to see every date and alarm
Amending a date or alarm
Section titled “Amending a date or alarm”Dates and alarms can be rescheduled from the new calendar in two ways:
- Drag the entry to its new day, then confirm the change in the Move this date? window. Entries that carry a time also offer a Time to move to
- Select the entry, select Edit, provide the new Date (and Time, where the entry has one), then select Save
The change is saved to the matter exactly as if you had edited the date on the matter itself, and is recorded in the matter’s history.
Opening the matter from an entry
Section titled “Opening the matter from an entry”Selecting an entry opens a panel showing the matter reference, matter type and the date itself. Select Open matter to open that matter in a new tab.
