Google GSuite integration
If you use GSuite for your emails, you can configure Gmail to automatically forward your emails to the matter inside InTouch.
Setting this up involves two steps:
- Creating a forwarding address
- Creating a forwarding ruleEach team member in you're firm will need to set up their own custom forwarding rule.
Creating a forwarding address
- Login to your Gmail account using a web browser
- Select the Cog icon in the top right corner
- See All Settings
- Select the tab Forwarding and POP/IMAP
- Add a forwarding address
- For the UK and Channel Islands:
mail@inbound.intouchapp.co.uk
- For Australian customers:
mail@aus.inbound.intouch.cloud
- For those in the Bahamas:
mail@bhs.inbound.intouch.cloud
- For the UK and Channel Islands:
- Next > Proceed
- Once complete, email support@intouch.cloud to let us know that you have set this up
- We will confirm this on your behalf
Creating a forwarding rule
- Login to your Gmail account using a web browser
- Select the Cog icon in the top right corner
- See All Settings
- Select the tab Filters and Blocked Addresses
- Create a new filter
- Enter
[ITR:
into the subject field - Create Filter
- Tick Forward it to: and input the relevant email address:
- For the UK and Channel Islands:
mail@inbound.intouchapp.co.uk
- For Australian customers:
mail@aus.inbound.intouch.cloud
- For those in the Bahamas:
mail@bhs.inbound.intouch.cloud
- For the UK and Channel Islands:
- Create filter
Now all received emails that contain a valid ITR code in the subject will be automatically attached the relevant matter on InTouch.
