"The document is not available to sign"


If a document has been sent to a user for Esignature and they are presented with the following message:

"The document is not available to sign"

This implies the email associated with the Esignature request has not been sent directly from the Esignature task on the matter.

To resolve:

  1. If applicable, select Cancel Signature Request within the related task on the matter.
    This will cancel the existing signature request and re-activate the Esignature task within the matter.
  2. To re-send the Esignature, select Create Signature Request within the related task
  3. Follow the process as prompted, ensuring the email is sent directly from the task
