Microsoft Exchange Server 2010
If you use Microsoft Exchange 2010 for your emails, you can configure this to automatically forward your emails to the relevant matter inside InTouch.
Creating a Transport Rule
- Open the Exchange Management Console
- On the left hand side, expand the Exchange Tree then expand Organisation Configuration
- Within the central section, select the Transport Rules tab
- Within the Actions section on the right hand side, select New Transport Rule
- Enter a name for the transport ruleThis can be anything you like, but we suggest 'Send email to InTouch'.
- Ensure Enable Rule is ticked
- Select Next
- Check the box: 'when the Subject field contains specific words'
- In the lower pane, follow the link: 'specific words'
- In the Words: field enter "ITR:"
- Select Add > OK
- Select Next
- Under Actions, check the box: 'Blind carbon copy (Bcc) the message to addresses'
- In the bottom panel follow the link: 'addresses'
- Select the dropdown field next to Add > External E-Mail Addresses
- In the pop up window, enter the relevant email address:
- For the UK and Channel Islands:
mail@inbound.intouchapp.co.uk
- For Australian customers:
mail@aus.inbound.intouch.cloud
- For those in the Bahamas:
mail@bhs.inbound.intouch.cloud
- For the UK and Channel Islands:
- Select OK, and then OK again on the previous window
- Select Next
- Select New and wait a few seconds whilst the Exchange adds the new rule
- Click Finish to complete the process
